International Club Host MG looks at devastaion of Homeless' belongings wrougfht by police.
Some 30 Clubsters have worked on Homeless issues for the last 3 years, and recently participated in the St Pete Mayor's Homeless Summit they called for and various rallies on the issue. Officials presented statistics that confirmed Club user contentions that over 25% of the Homeless were Iraqi or other veterans, and pledged to halt police abuses. Club attendees helped present voluntary and tax-cutting means for pass-through housing brainstormed by the Homeless themselves.
In addition, anonymous Club fans embarrassed the city into action by buying tents for the Homeless, creating a tent city with their own 'mayor' in a donated area. Clubsters worked with Homeless to get involved in programs such as the volunteer supported FoodShare and Clubster Bill Sachs has started a TV show on affordable housing alternatives as well.
